Points of View is a spacious vacation rental villa on the Caribbean Island of Bequia,
in St Vincent & the Grenadines.

Points of View villa sits on its own private one acre lot. It is built in the Modern West Indian style and is fully equipped with all modern amenities. Centrally located on a ridge which commands one of the most spectacular views on Bequia, the villa overlooks yacht-studded Admiralty Bay to the north and tranquil Friendship Bay to the south, with a vista towards Mustique and the southern Grenadines. A wide balcony runs the full length of the house, and has large overhangs,which protect it from occasional rain showers. It is essentially the preferred living area of the house, equipped with a dining table and chairs, as well as a hammock, loungers and a swing seat. One could spend the whole day out here just taking in the view, keeping an eye on the activity in the harbour, and relaxing in the cooling breeze. Amenities: The living and dining rooms also each have double doors opening onto the full length balcony; in the living room you’ll find cable TV and a stereo system. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge-freezer, gas cooker and microwave oven. There is, of course, plenty of crockery and glasses.

Accommodation: There are two large private bedrooms, separated by the living & dining rooms, each with en suite bathroom. These bedrooms are furnished with double beds, ceiling fans and mosquito nets, and open out onto the magnificent balcony that runs the full length of the house. Additionally there is a charming loft bedroom which partially overlooks the living/ dining area and is furnished with two single beds. The loft has two dormer windows giving wonderful natural ventilation, and is serviced by a third full bathroom on the main level.

New Plunge Pool! To make your stay even more pleasurable, we have built a "plunge pool", for those days when the beach seems too far off. It is filled with fresh water, warmed by the Caribbean Sun, and kept pure by an eco-friendly solar filtration pump.

The rental price includes a weekly maid service. Our house-keeper will greet you upon arrival and will be available to make your stay pleasurable. A personal laundry service is also available at a small extra charge. Local telephone calls are free.

Location: It is a short five minute walk from Points of View to three beautiful beaches. Take your time and savour secluded, undeveloped Princess Margaret beach, or choose Lower Bay beach, which hosts a number of small friendly restaurants and bars, as well as the local fishing fleet. Both these beaches offer superb, safe swimming in the warm caressing waters of the Caribbean Sea . Alternatively, you can relax at Friendship Bay beach where, at one end, local boats are still built in the traditional manner, and further along, the new Bequia Beach Hotel is to be found. Port Elizabeth, Bequia's main town, is a pleasant walk away and provisions are readily available there, along with banking and communication facilities, as well as many intriguing clothing and souvenir stores. If you are not in the mood for a stroll, simply wait at the shelter below the villa for a ride in the “dollar bus”. This lively transport service runs frequently throughout the day, providing a cheap way of getting around. Taxis are also readily available, at very moderate rates.

Discounts are negotiable for longer term and family rentals.

These rates include electricity, cooking gas, cable TV, Wi-Fi internet and local phone calls.
